Closer Look At All Three sacai x Nike Vapor Waffle Colorways Emerge_Sole Says It All

After crafting two neutral-toned colorways of her beloved LDWaffle this past March, Chitose Abe is ready to add another chapter to her highly-revered footwear catalog with the Nike imprint. First seen walking the runway at Paris Fashion Week at the top of the year, the sacai x Nike Vapor Waffle is expected to make its way into the hands of sneakerheads across the globe shortly.

Chunky in stature, and aggressive in look, the low-profile silhouette dons a fashion-forward shape that is molded together with mesh bases and a combination of overlays that alternate between suede at the toe tip and leather in the heels. Sole units, similar to the aforementioned collabs, protrude out towards the rear, only its heightened layer curves up at its end for a more opened-up look. Co-branded tongue and heel embellishments are kept in tact, as well as the double-stacked Swooshes falling on the lateral panels, only the latter mixes between a leather check in the foreground and spray-on/enlarged Swoosh placed in the back. Three colorways including a black/white, green/yellow, white/red/blue will be included in the first batch of drops, and given that sacai recently announced that their Fall 2020 collection is dropping in mid-July, this could be a sign that the shoes may see an official release soon.

According to some release calendars from European sources, the sacai x Nike Vapor Waffle will begin rolling out on October 20th.
