As the adidas NMD line attempts to regain its popularity among savvy sneaker enthusiasts, it’s produced dozens of arrangements that would’ve unquestionably rivaled Kanye West’s Yeezy line had they released a few years ago. Among them, a newly-surfaced NMD R1 duo featuring camouflage-patterned uppers.
Knit construction across both pairs is clad in either “Savana/Brown” or “Grey Three/Core Black” palettes, and covered in the military-inspired blotches. Profile 3-Stripes indulge in a subtle black, while molded heel panels and TPU plugs along the midsole either follow suit or opt into the aforementioned desert-reminiscent hue. Underfoot, the non-BAPE duo keeps its sole units simple: BOOST cushioning in “Footwear White” while tread goes “Core Black”.
This NMD_R1 duo arrives to adidas.com on August 7th for $140 USD each. In the meantime, enjoy official images of both pairs ahead.
